Sell with Moona

The following categories of businesses and business practices are restricted from using our partner Stripe Service (“Restricted Businesses”).

By registering with us, you are confirming that you will not use the Service to accept payments in connection with the following businesses, business activities, or business practices, unless you have received prior written approval from Moona.

Moona supports GBP, USD, EUR and CAD. If you need a specific currency, please contact us.

Moona is available worldwide.

By selling your product using Moona, you can immediately accept purchases via:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • JCB

The Merchant Dashboard is the Moona’s order handling system for online stores implementing Moona as a payment system.Here you can:

  • View all orders having gone through Moona Payment
  • Receive reports which can be used for bookkeeping
  • Change your settings and company information
  • Payout management
  • Amount of commission earned
  • Amount of funded Incentives

Just like any other payment solution, for all the transactions Moona will process on your behalf, it is your business name that will appear on your customers bank statement.

Moona allows you to issue full refunds to your customers. To issue a refund, follow the steps below:

  • Log in to Moona and access your Dashboard
  • Select the payment you wish to refund
  • Click on the “refund” button located on the right of each transactions
  • Refunds will be processed and should be effective within a few days, depending on your customer bank processes.

Please note that when you issue a refund, the £5's offered by Moona to your customer and paid back to you will also be reversed.

Security is at the heart of Moona. All transactions are processed by our partner Stripe. Stripe follows the latest security standard and offers a secure environment for your transactions, as well as for your customer payment details. Stripe offers a PCI compliance level 1, the highest standard in the card payment industry.

If you have made changes to your business, such as changing the structure as a sole trader to a limited company, you will need to complete a transfer of your agreement with Moona.

Yes, you will have a specific contact available to support you. Don’t hesitate to contact our Merchant Support through phone or email for assistance.

The payments are transferred to your bank account on Mondays automatically, on a 7 day rolling basis. For example, if a transaction was made on Thursday, July 16, then the payments will be transferred to you on Monday, July 27th.


This delay allows Stripe to process eventual refunds and to mitigate some of the risks inherent to online payments.

Upselling Premium Services

The services that we partner with and upsell on your website are offered by the most successful e-commerce stores. Like that, we give you the ability to offer the same services without the need of having the necessary resources to do so. We also provide you with a competitive advantage without you having to anything. That way, you can offer relevant services that many customers are already taking full advantage of from your competitors.


All the premium services are Moona tested and verified. They go through an extensive verification process where we make sure to check everything to the last detail. That way we know we’re partnering with safe and regulated services.


As per Moona guidelines, all services are subject to a “cancel and refund anytime” policy to ensure customer satisfaction and full transparency.

You decide which services you want to enable and disable according to what best suits the needs of your customers.

You keep control of your brand because the services are embedded seamlessly and integrated to your theme and branding (font, colour, theme…).

Technical and Integration

To start integrating Moona, you need to have a functional website.

This means that you need to have information on your products, and it must be possible to add products to a shopping cart.

We are currently working to be able to connect merchants that are not on WooCommerce and Magento 2.

Moona can be integrated directly into your site in a few clicks. No coding required.

Our simple and seamless integration means that Moona will automatically update, so you’ll always have the latest version of our payment solutions to offer your customers.



STEP 1 - Go to your WordPress dashboard

STEP 2 - Go to "Plugins - Add new", search for "Moona" and install the Moona extension.

Magento 2 :




  1. Moona is compatible with Magento versions from 2.1 and above. Recommended version is 2.4, with the latest update.
  2. You need to be registered to Moona. Follow the instructions here, or simply register by filling in this form,

Magento supports 2 ways to install packages. Moona can be installed either via Composer, or manually.


We highly recommend installing Moona through Composer.


  • Go to your magento repository and to install the module, the following command should be used:
composer config repositories.moona-plugin vcs <>
// Will be the last tag version => stable
composer require moona/moona

  • To activate the extension, the commands below should be executed:
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento cache:flush

  • If Magento is in Production mode, the following commands should also be run:
php bin/magento setup:di:compile 
php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy <your locale>

All payments made with Moona are secured by our partner, Stripe. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, which is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
Stripe uses best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain the highest level of security: HTTPS and HSTS for secure connections, and encryption of sensitive data and communication.
